Initially our design project managers will work with you to establish exactly what you require from your eCommerce website. We will ask clear and concise questions that enable us to get a greater understanding of your brand, target audience, product and many other design factors.

Our design team will create custom colour palettes and swatches to isolate the key colours that should play a major part of your online brand. They will also review colour gradients and fade effects to create a strong visual brand for your project.

Once a colour scheme and overall branding guidelines have been clarified, the design team will then begin to create font and logo ideas that suit the brand goals of the project and your business as a whole. Our experience here is key; as we will decide what is best for the logo – from elaborate, decorative and arty, to neat, clinical and contemporary.

After the overall branding package is confirmed, the next stage is the eCommerce design outline. Our design team will then focus their efforts on how your website should be presented and what the ideal layout should be. This will really depend on your product and target audience.
Once laid out, the design team can complete the finer details of the project, bringing the eCommerce design to life. At this stage, the whole website comes together and the design starts to shine.

When the eCommerce design is complete, the design concept would be sent to you for review. At this point in the design process we will be hoping for some feedback from you regarding the design. We will make changes as necessary until you are completely happy with the proposed design. Our design team are always here to help.

The eCommerce development team will then begin to create the eCommerce website to the exact approved design. This is the most time consuming part of the development process.
Your eCommerce solution will then be ready for serious testing.

Products will be added to the draft site by the eCommerce development team, in order to test the functionality properly, enabling them to correct any issues found as the tests are being performed.

A second eCommerce developer would then be tasked with a design review, enabling a fresh pair of eyes to review the project in its entirety, ensuring that the design is perfect in multiple web browsers.

The original developer will then complete a Quality Assurance test; this is a 450-point inspection, which has been developed over 6 years of eCommerce experience. They will be looking to test the eCommerce solution using key processes, from buying a product to performing a search; knowing exactly what to look out for.

Now that the eCommerce design is complete, the eCommerce development team will begin to test the website through a range of 20-30 practices that an admin would undertake, such as: adding products, managing orders and editing product reviews.
Once the eCommerce website is complete it will be uploaded to your domain name, ready for trading. Before the website is officially launched we will test the entire checkout procedure, ensuring that everything is working perfectly. We will dedicate some time to teach you the admin control panel and other features of the system so that you can use the system confidently to trade online.
